I want to thank the staff at the McWilliam Hotel for being so professional, kind and courteous to my parents who had lunch there recently (Wednesday January 12th). From the moment they arrived, they were treated incredibly well- from the friendly staff.  The young woman who greeted them on arrival made a particularly great impression. The waitress who looked after them after this, was also excellent. Both should be commended for their excellent service. The food was also excellent- great quality, generous portions and good value.

They loved their visit and have already returned today (almost within the week). Again they had a lovely experience.
I can vouch for this establishment as I accompanied them there late last year and I was so impressed by everything- the highly trained, professional teams, the service, the food (you have to try the curry!) the cleanliness and the overall general feeling of excellent, caring management.
My parents were absolutely delighted and will return often. I will be there shortly for sure. Thank you all at the McWilliam- we really appreciate what you are doing there, and will spread the word.

The world’s largest Sports Air Dome for Connacht GAA in Bekan, Co. Mayo.

The Dome is located on the site of the Connacht GAA ‘Centre of Excellence’ and measures 150m (l) x 100m (w) x 26m (h). This highspec facility accommodates a full size 4G synthetic GAA pitch, 130m Indoor Running Track, extensive Gym Facilities which can accommodate up to 30 people at one time, Internal Performance Testing facilities, 2G synthetic surface Concourse Areas and seating for over 600 spectators for competitive fixtures. The double-skinned energy-efficient Smart Air Dome features specialist LED lighting, high-tech inflation, air exchange, ventilation and heating adaptations that are controlled by multiple systems which use automated fault detection, as well as monitoring and maintenance technology to control heat, pressure, humidity and lighting.

The innovative design of this Air Dome allows for the structure to transform itself from a sporting facility for the local community into a fully functional conference area within 72 hours. Other prospective functions allow the Dome to be used for executive training days, trade exhibitions, and concerts with the capacity to hold up to 10,000 people: making it one of Ireland’s largest indoor venues.
