Meet the Evolve Health and Fitness Club Team
Madeline – Leisure Centre Manager
20 years’ experience in the leisure industry, 15 years management. Worked in Public pool, private clubs and Hotel leisure. Instructor in spin cycling, reebok fit ball, aqua aerobics, strength and conditioning.
Coached competitive swimming with Galway and Castlebar swimming clubs. Set up a masters swimming club in 2014, it has since evolved into an open water swimming company “mayo open water”. Passionate about teaching swimming and love the open water. Qualified rescue PADI scuba diver. Hobbies jogging and when possible skiing.
Gary – Leisure Centre Supervisor
Gary has recently joined our team this October. He has just completed an honours degree in business and sport and is putting it to good use here in the leisure centre. Gary is also RLSS lifeguard qualified, a fully qualified level 2 swimming teacher, a personal trainer and gym instructor. Gary has an interest keeping fit and will be involved in delivering land and water based classes in the leisure centre. He looks forward to meeting and working with you.
Fergus is currently working here at the four-star McWilliam park hotel. He possesses a qualification in lifeguarding which allows him to become a member of the leisure centre team. He has competed in many Swim Gala’s throughout Ireland bringing home various medals and achievements. Currently studying in AIT to become a qualified Sports therapist. Heavily involved in the Senior Claremorris GAA team for many years. With his work ethic and bubbly personality, he brings a great atmosphere throughout the Leisure Centre.
Justin joined our McWilliam Park Hotel Leisure Centre team two years ago. He has gym instructor and personal trainer qualifications and is also a qualified lifeguard. He also proudly owns coaching badges with the FAI and teach his local team Connrangers (Up the Conn). He also is an avid footballer, playing for his local team of Knockmore.
Noel is 17 years old, and has a massive interest in sport and training. He is in leaving cert year in Ballyhaunis Community School and hopes to pursue a career in leisure management in the future. He is a trained lifeguard and has joined the team this summer.
